Born and raised in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, Ted Kamberos attended The University of Chicago Lab Schools and went on to receive his B.A. degree at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
A Chicago real estate broker since 1972, Ted began his career on Chicago’s north side working for a Century 21 office where he was consistently one of the top producing agents. Within a few years he was promoted to branch manager and ultimately to vice-president. After 11 years Ted left the firm to open his own real estate office in the Lincoln Park/DePaul area where it has thrived for the last 28 years.
Ted has received numerous sales awards and twice has been the recipient of the coveted “Good Neighbor Award” presented by the Northside Real Estate Board/Chicago Association of Realtors.
Ted credits his late parents, both Greek immigrants, for instilling in him the strong work ethic behind his success.
